Challenge

Xavier Musketeers Athletic Department wanted to increase attendance to their Men's Basketball games, build ticket sales and fill their stands by offering discounted seats to fans. Running promotional campaigns with CoupSmart helped draw attention to Xavier University's deals, giving current fans (and new fans), the opportunity to attend nearly sold out basketball games for nearly half the cost!


Solution

CoupSmart and Xavier University worked together to create a "50% Off Tickets" and a "2 Tickets for $40" campaign. Each promotion offered a unique coupon code to individuals claiming the deal, which could be used towards their purchase on Ticketmaster.com.  Links for the site were provided on each voucher, making each purchase "X"-tra convenient!


Results

  • Our "50% off Tickets" campaign had a 38.6% redemption rate.
  • The "2 Tickets for $40" campaign had a view to claim ratio that was over 21% and a redemption rate of 23.5%.
